Telephone Counselling

Telephone counselling is available for those who prefer this way of experiencing their counselling or therapy. It can also be a practical and convenient solution to transport or childcare difficulties as well as providing an opportunity for couple counselling to take place when one partner may be in a different location.

Each telephone session starts and finishes on time and lasts for an hour. If you wish to book further sessions or have on-going counselling following your first session, you can arrange this with your counsellor at the end of the session.

Booking an Appointment

Appointments can be booked with a professional counsellor at a mutually agreed time by calling 01793 339482 or by completing the contact us form.

Appointments are available for daytime and evenings. There are also some limited weekend times available.

Please note, the above charges include a £2 PayPal service charge. If you wish to avoid this additional fee, you can pay directly through your own personal online banking (see below for details).

Who Can Use The Telephone Counselling Service?

Our services are available to individuals or couples for general counselling, relationship counselling or help with sexual difficulties (psychosexual therapy).

Please note, we do not offer telephone counselling for children or young people under the age of 18 years.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a session, please let us know as soon as possible. If you need to change your appointment, we will do our best to offer you an alternative time. Failure to keep an appointment or sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at the full rate and a refund will not be available.

I feel I can cope a lot better after having the sessions but know I still have a couple of obstacles to overcome. I feel a lot more confident knowing counselling is only a phone call away.

Confidentiality

Your telephone counsellor will be working to the BACP, Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling. What you say in your therapy session will be held in confidence within our agency. However, we would not agree to keep confidential any information that could lead to serious harm to yourself or a third party.
